The young to disrespect the aged now.why ?and how?
No sensible people would deny that respecting elders is a fundamental responsibility for
youngsters. Ironically,facing this responsibility the young,nowadays, choose to blind it. This essay
is going to discuss this phenomenon and shed some personal lights on it.
Selfcenter might be the main factor that lead to this problem. Due to the statue quo of reducing
the ratio of young kids,parents take care of their children carefully,which lead the young so selfish
that treating the elders rudely. The research shows that 75% of the children prefer to play on-line
games rather than spend family day with their grandparents. The young through different ways to
avoid connecting with the old and unnecessary communication.
In spite of the fact that the problem persists,if not exacerbates, in all countries, it would be too
irresponsible and pathetic to succumb to the statue quo. Education could waive the pain radically.
It is not uncommon to see that the education not only from school,but from parents could effect
children deeply. Through correct guide, youngsters could comprehend why they should respect
the old and follow it consequently.
Influence of media might be another good approach. Depending on the media support, respecting the
aged could be spread widely ,and hence push children to follow it as a fundamental responsibility.
Such as some other social moral rules,facing pressure from public,children had to respect old people
reluctantly. It might be the quick fix,but the problem could be solved immediately.
To sum up,as mentioned above, respecting the old already becomes a controversial topic. We have the
ability as well as the responsibility solve it immediately and radically. Only through integrating
the silver bullet and quick fix,could young well adopted and adapted,and respect the old people from
the bottom of the heart.
