雅斯閱讀理解分為兩個層面：句子層面 和 詞匯層面 
有一定閱讀理解能力，有一定語法詞匯的同學應從句子層面著手答題。但是針對基礎比較薄弱的同學，就應該從單詞層面來嘗試解決問題。（當然，還是推薦大家 
惡補語法詞匯，從根本上解決問題）。 
針對上述題型，從詞匯層面來講，做題順序應該是： 
讀段落首句--〉劃標誌詞--〉找包含標誌詞的選項 
（1。找到唯一一個的話就是答案；2。找到幾個選項都包含標誌詞或找不到對應選項繼續下一步） 
讀段落首句--〉劃標誌詞--〉找包含標誌詞的選項--〉回讀第二句--〉劃標誌詞--〉篩選剩余選項（或找到包含標誌詞的選項） 
如果還沒有的話則再讀該段最後一句。從詞匯層面上來解決雅思閱讀的關鍵就在於要在段落中找到數個標誌詞集中出現的情況。這樣答案就能夠相對肯定一些。 
當然，單靠詞匯解決雅斯閱讀必然存在犧牲一定正確率的問題。但是只要考生能夠細心高效，將更多的時間從理解類題目中節省下來，然後用來做實事細節類題目 
的話，5-5.5的分數還是可以的。 

做閱讀和打兔子的道理是一樣的 
如何打兔子：認識兔子-推測兔子的出沒地-找兔子-提防"狡兔三窟"----打 
（打不打得到只有上帝說得算，所以不需要費神） 
做閱讀：認識答案形式-推測答案可能出現位置-文章中找答案-分析常見出題陷阱-界定答案 
（對不對只有考官說得算，所以也不需要費神） 
宏觀來講 
Step 1.先快速瀏覽各篇文章來掌握題型的分布 
Step 2.根據文章的題材是否熟悉和題型難易的分布還有標誌詞的明顯與否將文章的做題順序從易到難定好 

在新的移民政策之下，澳洲政府對學生移民的雅思分數提出了4個7分的要求。並且，據悉本來很多同學可以用學術類的4個7分來做移民使用，但現在必須要用移民類的4個7分。在這個情況下，移民類閱讀就成了很多同學的軟肋。
 
移民類閱讀7分要求34個題目以上的正確率。基本上來講就不能夠有錯誤的出現。
那究竟應該怎麽樣在短時間之內提高自己的做題準確率和做題速度呢？
筆者通過觀察眾多學生的做題過程發現了很多匪夷所思的錯誤的錯題方法和步驟。
通過研究，筆者發現通過改良這些不足可以讓大家在短時間內提高自己的閱讀速度和精準度。下面與大家分享其中的一些重點：
 
1。List of headings的做題方法。很多同學在作該類題目的時候基本思路如下：
讀所有headings了解大意--〉讀第一段首句尾句--〉參考篩選匹配的heading--〉讀第二段首句尾句。。。（以此類推）

最近經常有學生來跟我要閱讀的練習題，學術類和移民類的同學都有。
有些同學閱讀課還沒開始上就像要先拿一堆題目麻醉自己。
的確大家的求學心態是正確的
焦急也是可以理解的
但是從閱讀的教學角度來講，多做題並不等同於考高分。
首先，作題並不是學習的過程，而是檢驗學習效果的過程，也就是說自己給自己做“模考”
只不過是總結性的(summative)而不是知識性的(formative）。
這個過程並不會讓你學到什麽關於雅思閱讀的做題方法，
最多也就是熟悉題目的排版和布局

要領一：不要按照題號順序做題：題號順序不等於難易程度


要領二：不要一次只做一個題：釣魚不如網魚


要領三：不要從頭到尾看文章：盡信書不如無書

很多老師和同學都在討論到底答案寫成縮寫或者寫混會不會扣分。我今天不想就這個問題深究。因為只要大家了解了，考試的時候很容易避免寫混或者縮寫。縮寫又不會真正的節省下來多少時間。每次考試最多15道判斷題左右，每道題目就算都縮寫，最多也就節省個30-60秒。爭這個沒什麽意義。既然如此，考試要求你寫怎樣就寫怎樣就好了。


我想講的一點是為什麽會有T/F/NG和Y/N/NG的不同。雅思官方網站的介紹明確指出：


T/F/NG考量的是題目中的“事實”和“原文”是否一致

雅思考試很快走過了20多年，這20年裏業界的雅思老師們也將這門考試研究的透透徹徹。
但是，不可忽略的是考試出題方也在針對我們的雅思考試技巧調整自己的出題策略。
尤其是寫作單項，各位老師都將自己珍藏的萬用詞句傾囊相授，結果殊不知造成了模板套句泛濫的情況
針對這個現象，我們是應該坐下來考量一下很多我們一直在寫的詞句，真的有價值嗎？“陳詞濫調”是不是應該過濾一下呢？下面是筆者在雅思教學的過程中的一
點想法，與君共勉：


陳詞濫調（1）

最近有幾位同學跟我談起了寫作的備考如何安排，直呼“到處都是問題，滿臉都是眼淚”，希望這一貼能夠讓大家心中有數。
1。練習審題。如果題目審錯了，接下來的什麽都沒有任何意義了。寫作本來就是“任務完成度+連貫流利+詞匯+語法”分別給分，所以如果審題錯了，整個分數一定會被拉下來。同時，寫作的題目多年來都一直在不斷重復，所以只要大家將歷年的題幹都進行一遍審題練習，那麽不僅可以避免審題錯誤的出現，同時也會遇到考試的時候的真題。我的《湯儒涵講雅思寫作機經及高分範文點評》一書中有2004-2010年6月的所有學術類和移民類大作文題幹，大家可以參考（由於有很多的舊題重現，所以實際上題目的數量並沒有想象的那麽多）。這個過程完了之後，大家就不需要依靠雅思寫作的預測了，因為所有的題目已經熟記於心了。
 
2。範文分析。在開始寫之前我們首先要了解很多寫作的概念，包括論證，例證，觀點，背景描述等。通過讀點評範文大家可以更加感性的認識這些要求到底是什麽。同時看範文還可以積累一定量的論點論據，在下一步的思路練習中給自己一個基礎。在看範文的時候同時應該著重整理積累高分詞匯和語法現象，以備後面的寫作練習使用（我的書中有數十篇點評範文，充分體現了高分詞匯和語法的靈活使用，可供參考）。
 
3。練習思路。很多同學反映“怎麽寫”本身並不難，“寫什麽”才是在考試的時候更讓人頭疼的問題。很多同學好不容易拿出1個小時的時間想練練寫作，結果咬筆撓頭想不到到底寫些什麽支持反對的觀點，結果啥都寫不出來。既然我們已經知道大作文的題幹總是舊題重現，在練習審題之後我們就應該收集整理各個題型的論點論據。由於大作文的題目本身就有相似性，所以在這個過程中大家就會發現很多論點論據實際上可以適用於很多的題目。而這個理解的過程實際上就練習了大家快速拓展思路的能力。
 
3。練習開頭。在我的書中，按照大作文題目要求的不一樣，將雅思大作文分成了5大類別，而常考的則只有3種。在開始全篇寫作之前先要練習不同類別的題目的Introduction的寫作。因為考試的時候第一段寫的是否夠快夠好會大大地影響考生接下來的寫作心態，所以我們要首先熟練第一段三句話的寫作流程。有了這個練習量，大家的開篇就會很順利。

 傳統雅思口語應試技巧和四部口語法的比較
在以往的雅思口語教學中，第一階段應試策略強調的是針對考官所問題目，使用brain storm的技巧補充細節來延長答案長度。例如：
Question: Could you tell me something about your current accommodation?
Brainstorm:
Accommodation:
Apartment, Location, Size, Bedroom, Living room, Advantage, Disadvantage, Decoration
Answer: Okay. I’m living in an apartment. It’s in downtown area. The apartment is not big. There is a living room and two bedrooms. I like the place because it’s close to my company, however it’d be better if we could get a bigger one.
頭腦風暴（brain storm)的方法要求考生抓住題目中的關鍵詞，並且進行即時的聯想，然後把聯想到的點用有效的英語連接並表達出來。然而此方法要求考生在短時間內沒有任何引導地迅速拓展思路，不僅僅增加考生的壓力，還將有限的腦資源用在無序的拓展思路上而不是使用在組織思路和語言上。同時，由於考生的表達是隨機地將想到的信息點進行組合表達，所以從考官的角度來說，從考生的表達中找不到一條清晰的邏輯思路，間接地給考官的理解增加了壓力。大家可以想一下，在日常生活中和朋友用中文聊天的時候，有時由於說話者 (speaker) 思路不清晰，語言邏輯性不強，表達起來就有點象“流水賬”。這種情況下，聽眾（listener) 在理解的時候就更費力，同時也很難提起興趣。在使用英語進行交流的時候，我們也要註意表達中的邏輯，因為這11－14分鐘的時間不僅是考官與考生的交流過程，也是說話者 (speaker) 和聽眾 (listener) 的交流過程。考官作為一個聽眾，同時又作為一個受自己主觀意識影響的評分者，在語言能力既定的前提下，如果他（她）認為考生的表達更加易懂，那麽自然所給的分數也就會高一些。這就是貫穿本書的一個出發點和原理。
 綜上所述，brain storm不能夠在考試的時候給考生提供結構上的依靠，因為考生只能線性地，也就是“流水賬”式地組織思路。 如果把考生考雅思口語比喻成跳舞的話，brain storm的方法告訴考生的是“你面前有很多步可以走”，而不能告訴考生下一步到底應該走哪一步。本書提供的四步口語法不同於以前口語教材所強調的用線型思維來延長答案，而是給大家立體的思路，教給大家這“四步舞”到底應該怎麽跳，真正在考試的時候幫助考生舞出下一步。
